End of the Summer Programme and the start of the new Season
Cupar Camera Club wrapped up its Summer Programme with a photography day and meet up at Falkland. The weather was not the best, with fine rain and occasional heavier showers dampening proceedings. We were however able to meet up in the afternoon under the big new awning at the 1821 café. We talked about how the Summer Programme had gone. We all agreed that Hazel Fletcher, Hazel Barlow and Lorna Thomson had put together a varied and interesting series of outings, that had challenged members to photograph genre they had never done before, like highland games at Markinch, wildlife on the Isle of May and Street Photography in Dunfermline.
The 2026/7 main season started on 3rd September with an Open Evening. Members, new members and potential members were told all about the club and given a briefing about the seasons’ programme and got to know who we are and what we do. Members were asked to submit up to three images for discussion and there was plenty of time for a chat and catch-up. On 10thSeptember Michael Plant introduced DxO photography processing software. This is installed on the club’s computer and is available to members.
